High Court Decision on the Suitability of the Gyanvapi Temple Case Expected Today

The Allahabad High Court is scheduled to announce its verdict on Tuesday concerning five petitions filed by Anjuman Intezamia Masajid (AIM) and others. These petitions question the admissibility of an ongoing civil suit before a Varanasi court, which aims to restore a temple at the location occupied by the Gyanvapi mosque. Furthermore, the petition contests a directive issued by the Varanasi court on April 8, 2021, mandating a comprehensive survey of the Gyanvapi complex.

PRAYAGRAJ: The Allahabad high court on Tuesday will articulate its judgment on each of the five petitions recorded by Anjuman Intezamia Masajid (Point) and others testing the practicality of a common suit forthcoming under the steady gaze of a Varanasi court, looking for reclamation of a sanctuary at the site where the Gyanvapi mosque exists.
